Hi, I'm Sarah, and as I like to say, underneath this (still mostly!) blonde hair, I'm The Silver Steward – a testament to the life experience I bring to everything I do.

My journey to starting this venture has been a real reflection on what truly matters, prompted by some significant life events. Losing my wonderful Mum and then supporting my Dad through a huge life transition after 60 years together made me step back and think. I found myself navigating powers of attorney, setting up bank accounts, exploring government assistance, and, most importantly, offering comfort during a difficult time. Making those trips became my priority, and it led me to a pivotal moment with my 35+ year career. I realised it was time for a change, a move towards something more fulfilling.

Having recently landed in the vibrant city of Norwich and finding such inspiring connections with the fabulous women around Marston Marshes (right in my neighbourhood!), I felt a spark. Seeing so many embracing self-employment made me think, "Go on, try it – what's the worst that can happen?" (Cue a wry smile thinking back to those lean post-university days). But my Mum always instilled in me the importance of trusting myself, trusting life, and never having regrets.

So, I took a leap! I did a bit of a "word salad" of all the things I genuinely love doing and being. The "doing" involves being outdoors, connecting with people, spending time with animals, and staying active. The "being" is all about community spirit, feeling valued, sharing a good laugh, and giving back.

My professional background is wonderfully varied – from being a Programme Director on massive £4 billion projects to being a trusted PA for a Chairman. I'm not afraid of hard work, having even cleaned hospitals during a recession when jobs were scarce. And alongside all that, I've always had a deep love for animals, looking after countless dogs, house-sitting, and nurturing gardens – even setting up allotments and maintaining colourful blooms in larger spaces.

Now, I'm bringing all these threads together, offering a reliable and caring service right here in Norwich at competitive rates.
