My client had a vision for his outside wall – a vibrant Moroccan blue garden – but struggled to translate it onto paper. That's where Google Gemini's Imagen 3 AI came in. I guided him through using the tool to visualise and refine his ideas, and behold. A stunning Moroccan blue garden design emerged.
To bring that vision to life, the wall needed some TLC. First, I thoroughly cleaned the surface, removing any loose paint, dirt, or debris. Any cracks or imperfections were filled and sanded smooth, ensuring a perfect canvas for the paint. And a little tip: never paint in bright sunlight. The heat can cause the paint to dry too quickly, leading to uneven coverage and potential cracking.
With the wall prepped and the weather cooperating, the painting began. Eight hours later, a beautiful, rich blue wall was done. We added some potted plants to soften the starkness of the front courtyard, and now it's just waiting for some bright, colourful plants and perhaps a few Moroccan lanterns to complete the look. A truly stunning transformation!
Here you can see the before and after transformation. My aim was to create a clean and welcoming space for the future potato patch. I carefully cleared away the grassy turf, making sure to gently remove as much mud as possible from the roots so any hardworking worms could stay put and continue their important work in the soil. I also cleared away the stones to give the developing potatoes, parsnips, and carrots the best chance to grow straight and true, without too many wonky surprises.
While tidying, I made sure to leave a patch of the lovely pomfrey undisturbed at the back of the plot. Its beautiful flowers are a real magnet for bees and other pollinators, which are so vital for a healthy allotment ecosystem. Similarly, I intentionally left a small clump of nettles in a less obtrusive corner. Nettles may seem like weeds, but they are actually incredibly beneficial, providing food for certain butterfly larvae and when composted, they create a nutrient-rich addition to the soil – a little bit of wildness can be a real asset!
The clients shared their previous insurance costs, and we had a good chat about what they really needed. Then, I put together a list of options for car, home, and professional indemnity – and I'm happy to say, every single one of them came in cheaper, putting some extra pounds back in their pocket.
The client said deep clean was needed, but it was more of a spring clean. So I set to work, making sure every nook and cranny was spruced up.
This pint-sized pup called Dave (!) was a bundle of energy on our Norwich walk. We explored the local parks together, and despite his small stature, he kept pace with enthusiasm, sniffing out every interesting scent along the way
These varied days are my favorite, where I can leave knowing I've brought both practical help and genuine joy to a client's life.
A recent and rewarding task took me to the charming village of Horning to tackle a rather green situation! My client had a beloved 40-year-old boat that had seen its fair share of algae build-up. After a bit of research to ensure I used the right materials, I spent a good three hours gently coaxing the algae away from the windows and clearing the mud from the boat's topsides. It was so satisfying to see those windows sparkling again, ensuring my client could navigate safely. I also gave the inside of the boat a thorough clean and then had a lovely time sourcing some cosy cushions, throws, and other nice touches from local Norwich charity shops to give it a fresh and inviting feel – ready for its next adventure on the Norfolk Broads.
Meet some of the wonderful furry friends who brighten my week. These are just a few of the lovely dogs I have the pleasure of walking regularly. Here's Barney (my own Cocker Spaniel), the elegant Jack and Snickers (those graceful Saluki Greyhounds), sweet Amber the Labrador and Nacho. Nacho is a beautiful rescue dog who's a Heinz 57. Occasionally, I also have the joy of hosting these special pups for overnight stays, though I like to keep it to a maximum of two at a time to ensure everyone gets plenty of individual attention. While I'm quite strong, for safety during our walks – just in case we encounter any unexpected obstacles where a quick lift might be needed – I generally prefer looking after dogs under 20kg. Rest assured, whether they're out on an adventure with me or snuggled up for a stay, all my four-legged clients receive lots of love and care.

While I could certainly share a gallery of past projects, for this section, I wanted to highlight the diverse ways I can bring my discreet experience to your home and business needs right here in NR4, Norwich and the surrounding area. If you're curious about my professional background, you're welcome to connect with me on LinkedIn.
My journey actually began after university (with a degree in Economics & Accounting) as a Personal Assistant to a Chairman – truly a fantastic role. From there, I ventured into the world of project and programme management. But for the purpose of this website, the skills I've honed are now focused on helping you with the practicalities of life.
I've been asked to project manage home contractors, keep the books balanced for small businesses, design simple yet effective websites, manage social media, handle general home administration, and even act as your eyes and ears by visiting potential homes on your behalf here in Norfolk, especially helpful if you live abroad or further afield. Think of me as your experienced and versatile support, ready to tackle a range of tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
I recently had the pleasure of helping a client who was feeling overwhelmed by years of accumulated paperwork. During our session I noticed a pattern of auto-renewing insurance policies. It turned out these were quietly escalating in cost year after year, a common pitfall when life gets busy. Over a cup of tea, we took a moment to review his car, home, buildings, and health insurance, as well as upcoming MOTs. By carefully discussing his specific needs for each policy, we were able to explore online options and identify significantly better alternatives. In the end, we achieved a substantial annual saving of £645, freeing up valuable funds.
Beyond the insurance savings, we also tackled some practical household tasks. I conducted thorough research on local garages, comparing MOT and servicing deals to ensure he was getting the best value. Additionally, I followed up on quotes for his desired house improvements. This not only saved him time but also provided him with a clear overview of his options. It's incredibly rewarding to help clients declutter not just their physical spaces, but also their financial and administrative burdens, creating a sense of calm and control.
"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle".
That phrase resonates with my experience here in Norwich. Since starting out, I've been so fortunate to connect with some truly inspiring women, often in Marston Marshes, whilst walking dogs. Women like Lucy and Kate (you know who you are!), who are also building their own businesses.
Their generous advice & support, freely given over doggy walks, has been invaluable. So, if you're setting up a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) and could use a bit of networking, or simply someone to bounce ideas off, let's light each other's candles and build strength together in the Norwich business community. Get in touch for a coffee. No charge - just an ear to listen.
